Explosive on the nose with notes of lime blossom, quince and struck match. This is a plump wine of great energy that is still taking shape, but it has all the hallmarks of a benchmark vintage. Drink this very versatile food wine over the next 5 years.

St-Colombe is part of a group of wineries that includes the renowned properties of Pavie and Monbousquet. On the palate, this wine offers soft bramble fruits with a herbaceous spice, and notes of cedar. Great at any time of year and a versatile food wine, pairing especially well with red meats.
Wonderful purity and vibrancy to the fruit on this outstanding Chardonnay. Beautifully perfumed with lime blossom notes, the palate has concentration, weight and balance. If there is a better value wine, we’ve yet to find it.
From the oldest vineyard on the Poggione estate, one of the three original producers of Brunello di Montalcino, comes the incredible Riserva, Vigna Paganelli. Made from the very best selections from 51 year old vines, this is a wonderful wine from the amazing 2010 vintage.
Due to the small production of the Vigna Paganelli and the anticipated huge demand, we offer it alongside the Brunello 2011 from the same producer. Another outstanding vintage for Montalcino, the 2011s have a delightful weight and openness even at this early stage of their development, but with the depth and structure needed for graceful aging.
Both wines will be available for delivery in late Spring next year.
“The classic 2012 Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a rocking base cuvée that gives up loads of blackberry, licorice and Provencal herbs with a ripe, seamless style. Borderline voluptuous, with medium to full-bodied richness, it is a pleasure-bent effort that should shine on release.”
Vallée de l’Aube based Champagne house, Michel Guilleminot has been family-run for generations. An artisan approach, growing and bottling their own wine, ensures high quality production, consistency and above all excellent value. This is 100% Pinot Noir, offering cranberry notes alongside savoury toasted brioche and roasted hazelnuts.
This vineyard is a sub-section of Vaillons; a small hill which looks down on the village of Chablis. Its rocky surface faces noth-east, producing linear, focused wines. The 2014 is stunning with intense lime and grapefruit notes combining with wet stones and blossom. Very taut and concentrated with a creamy finish.
“Lemon zest, smoky oak, fig, and buttery tropical fruit characteristics are present in this straightforward, fruit-driven Pessac-Léognan. Earthy, with good acidity as well as excellent weight and depth, it should be consumed over the next 10-12 years.” 88 points, Robert Parker, Wine Advocate
We are able to offer exclusively for members of Cellar Circle a mixed case of Catena Alta vintages, including 2 bottles each of the 2009, 2010, and 2011. The team here were split on which vintage was their favourite: the beautifully mature 2009, the concentrated and classic 2010 or the rich and silky 2011. You can make your own mind up.
Another terrific example of this leading premier cru. Highly aromatic with notes of mountain herbs, fennel and dried apricot, the palate is dense and intense, flowing with layer upon layer of flavour. This vineyard is 10 years old and produces quite an exuberant wine.
Leaps out of the glass with intense crushed berry, garrigue laced fruit, crushed pepper and iodine. This is a precise, transparent VT with fine bones and a long detailed finish. Like Chateauneuf of old Daniel Brunier believes it will age gracefully.
