The Memorious fields vineyard is mainly Pinot Noir on clay - the vines are planted on a bedrock of Monterey Shale covered by alluvial deposits. This creates a slightly fuller and more rounded style with dark cherry and wild strawberry fruit. There are accents of violets and subtle exotic spice, but there is wonderful freshness and tension through the palate. Seamless and so charming on the finish.
