The 2019 Anthem Pinot Noir from Central Otago, made by husband-and-wife winemakers Sophie and Matt, is really impressive. There's plenty of vibrant, fresh character, partly from their careful use of whole-bunch, and lots of deep, concentrated black cherry and plum. Refreshing, pure and silky, it's a pleasure to drink.
