Flagship wine of the estate, Savitar originates from the Chinese Block within the Willalunga vineyard – a small parcel of land singled out for its unforgiving, skeletal soils. Grapes are carefully harvested to retain freshness and undergo a long, soft fermentation with a portion of the wine in barrel. Deep in colour with opulent blackcurrant and plum coulis and mocha depth from the carefully toasted oak. This is class, and the palate is delicious.
