2022 Barolo Gavarini Chiniera, Elio Grasso
The Gavarini Chiniera 2022 feels quite accessible in its youth. It has lovely fruit, floral notes and a touch of spice. Though still relatively broad it has more linear structure and more focus than the Casa Mate. Less seductive but a prettier style. A brilliant counter point.
