2022 Barolo Ginestra Casa Maté, Elio Grasso
In 2022 the extra water retention from the clay soils was really important for Casa Mate and kept some freshness in the wine. This is more concentrated than Gavarini, with darker fruit and more spice. The texture is beautiful rounded, seductive and broader. It has generous tannins but a long finish.
