2019 Brunello di Montalcino, Gianni Brunelli

A wine that is incredibly alluring and exudes so much finesse and perfume, with layers of complexity that slowly show themselves in the glass. A mix of savoury and sweet spice combine with cranberry, blood orange, crushed stone and graphite notes. The tannins are fine grained and silky and the palate is wonderfully saline. A real highlight of the vintage.
