2018 Valpolicella Classico Superiore Ripasso, Monte Santoccio, Nicola Ferrari

Ripasso means that the wine spends time on the Amarone skins, bringing richness. This is a beautifully balanced wine, with notes of fig and raisin, but still a core of bright fruit. There's a nice herbal lift on the finish.
