Nicola Ferrari learned his craft as an assistant to the famous Giusseppe Quintarelli and is now imparting his talents into Monte Santoccio. The 2020 Ripasso is stunning and showcases the best of this style that displays concentration and richness along with finesse and vibrancy. Referred to as a ‘baby Amarone’ you can expect sour cherries, cranberries and wild strawberries along with dried berry and spices. The tannins provide a firm grip and balance.
