The Mulinvecchio comes from a 1 hectare plot in the direction of Montalcino, with the vines planted on tufa, volcanic soils. The wine is concentrated and has lots of red berries and wild herbs, supported by clove and liquorice spice. The tannins are chalky and well integrated and the wine demonstrates great freshness and vibrancy.
