Wild aeroplane' as Domenico was named by his father, this wine reflects his adventurous and wild streak by finding a vineyard outside of his beloved Monforte and into Serralunga. This wine is so floral and so charming in its profile with blood orange and pomegranite at the forefront.
The 2014 Barolo Aeroplan Serve is the richest of the Clerico 2014s. Then again, that is Serralunga. Succulent dark cherry, plum, chocolate, spice and leather add gorgeous shades of nuance, but above all else, the Aeroplan Serve is a wine of textural softness and silkiness. Accordingly, it will drink well with minimal cellaring.
