After training as a stonemason, Tommaso began working on his uncle’s estate in 1977, and was soon creating his own experimental cuvées, using innovative fermentation and maturation techniques to produce impressive results. To differentiate these wines from his uncle’s, Tommaso’s initials, “TB”, were added to the label, a tradition he continues now. In 1983, only six years after starting at the winery, Tommaso took full control from his uncle decided to retire. Today, Tommaso’s now rightly considered one of the Veneto’s finest winemakers, lauded by legendary producers like Giuseppe Quintarelli.
