2011 Chianti Classico, Querciabella, Tuscany

Querciabella’s Chianti Classico is a Riserva in all but name, with yields and ageing deserving of that title. The (biodynamic) philosophy of this estate rests on pure, concentrated fruit so only old oak barrels are used to age this wine. The result is an aromatic, richly floral nose followed by a softly rounded palate of red fruit with a beautifully silky texture, framed by a fine-grained tannic structure. This is a truly elegant and seductive Chianti.
