2017 Krotenpfuhl Riesling Grosses Gewächs, Dönnhoff, Nahe

This is the first time Laurence has made this wine. It has a lovely citrus character, mostly grapefruit and lemon essence. Really tightly wound, but finessed, with piercing, driven acidity and wonderful complexity. They were surprised by the potential for dry wines here. Wonderful length. Less than 3 grams/litre.
