Nino Franco does everything a bit differently. The family started producing prosecco in 1918, long before others had seen the potential of the region. With wines from some of the best vineyards in the Valdobbiadene zone, the finest spot in the region, and an attention to detail that’s rare here, it’s no surprise that these are some of the best proseccos out there. The irrepressible septuagenarian Primo Franco is at the helm, and he has no problem with making wines that go against the grain, as long as they perfectly show their origins.
