2008 Brut, Laurent-Perrier

Laurent Perrier's Brut Vintage 2008 is a blend of 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir from only Grand Cru vineyards. Gold in colour with a medium to full body. This is generous from the outset. It offers notes of toasted hazelnuts, fresh brioche, plenty of fruit with ripe pear and green apple, all knitted together beautifully. This has plenty of depth - more opulent than austere. Very fine precise bubbles finish with a soft and luxurious finish.
