This is one of the most celebrated blends of the southern Rhône, notable for its high proportion of Mourvèdre. The 2024 vintage is a classic and elegant Beaucastel that has fine pepper and garrigue spice on the nose. The palate is ripe and Grenache adds a sensation of sucrosity to the mid-palate. This is quite a bright vibrant Chateauneuf this year with a fine, supple finish with notes of botanicals and liquorice root.
