2020 Château Lafleur-Gazin, Pomerol
The 2020 Lafleur-Gazin tastes brilliant. Here, heavy clay soils stored the winter rainfall, and allowed the merlot to deal brilliantly with the heat of the summer. As such, this remains cool and fresh, with lovely energy on the finish. Bravo.
