2014 Château Les Vieux Ormes, Lalande de Pomerol
Jean-Pierre Moueix started exclusively distributing this wine a few years ago as they think it's a well located property with a bright future. This is the best I've tasted with notes of woodsmoke, black cherry and a core of sweet fruit. There is a savoury persitance to this wine; re-tasting after the 'big guns' it stands up very well and will offer great value for money.
