“The Clos du Clocher 2014 has a more modern, riper and succulent bouquet compared to its “sibling” Château Bonalgue, hints of kirsch and wilted violets coming through with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with ripe sappy black fruit, crisp acidity and a pleasant chalkiness coming through on the poise finish. This is a Pomerol cru to keep a beady eye on because it boasts fantastic terroir up there on the plateau. An excellent wine courtesy of Jean-Baptiste Bourotte.”91-93 points, Neal Martin, erobertparker.com
