Concentrated, powerful, opulent, long, complex with a huge structure and perfect balance, Léoville-Las-Cases has got to be one of the candidates for wine of the vintage. A blend of 79% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot and 11% Cabernet Franc, it is a most impressive Las-Cases, and in our opinion on a par with the Firsts in terms of quality making it a very tempting proposition indeed.
