A property owned by the Jacquart family, with vinification overseen by the renown house of Moueix, the soils of Chateau Puy-Blanquet are made up of clay and chalk, a perfect growing medium for the dry conditions of the 2012 summer. A traditional style ,with sweet plummy fruit and only a brush of oak. Tannins are firm and fleshy, but work in perfect harmony with the acidity.
