2009 Château Puy-Blanquet, Grand Cru St-Emilion
Perfumed and attractive on the nose, demonstrating the appealing qualities of this vintage. There are notes of crushed, almost cordial, raspberry fruit with an earthy, savoury character lending balance. Plump and pretty on the palate, yet elegant, with finely grippy tannins and a vibrant acidity. Outstanding value.
