2009 La Chapelle de la Mission, Pessac-Léognan

2009 La Chapelle de la Mission, Pessac-Léognan

This has a lovely supple, effortless texture. The fruit is intense, with rounded fine-grained tannins – there is a volume and weight yet one that is carried with finesse and a lightness of touch. Depth of flavour and persistence builds on the palate of this fine, elegant wine. Not only an excellent second wine, this is a refined Pessac in its own right.

Robert Parker: 92-94 points (Wine Advocate 188)
