Jurançon
Jurançon lies in the little-explored south-west corner of France, in the foothills of the Pyrenées. Its climate is moderated by its proximity to the Atlantic Ocean, and it's home to the unusual varieties of Petit and Gros Menseng, which are used to make full-bodied whites that range from bone dry to lusciously sweet, all with an enticingly spicy pineapple aroma. It showcases both homegrown talent, and famous names from further afield who are entranced by the wines.
