Lovely lift and energy here, displaying a ripeness and juiciness to the palate. Yellow peach and some greengage are evident, and there’s also some spice that lingers on the palate. Very juicy and fine boned, with a silkiness on the finish.

The quartzite and red stones give more roundness and texture. The 2022 is wonderfully mineral with a saltiness to the finish. The palate displays an energetic acidity as well juicy stone fruit flavours, a wine that will not disappoint

Honeysuckle and plenty of freshness. This has kiwi fruit and also plenty of yellow plums and some verbena. Wonderful poise.

Orange blossom, fresh and dried apricots, honey and ginger are all displayed in the glass. The palate is juicy and the acidity is racy and provides the perfect tension to the sweetness and rich core.

A seriously complex wine that exudes yellow fruits as well as exotic notes of papaya. Wonderfully floral and intense, carefully balancing the ripeness with the tension. This is quite a showy wine, yet the precision still remains.

Delchen is a very steep vineyard and is planted on a complex mix of volcanic and slate soils. Beautifully balanced and displaying a mix of jasmine, apricot and ginger spice. The acidity is nervy and the palate has amazing tension, this is a wine that will age in the bottle for so many years to come.
