Macon/Côte Chalonnaise 2021: New Releases
The vineyards of the Mâconnais and the Côte Chalonnaise, to the south of the Côte d’Or, continue to offer excellent value for money. With the creation of premiers crus in Pouilly-Fuissé from the 2020 vintage, focus has more squarely been put on the hills of the Mâconnais, and in 2021 the wines thrill with energy, as well as impressive concentration. Meanwhile, we fall more and more in love with the wines of the Côte Chalonnaise, where vibrant fruit and crunchy acidity (as well as outstanding pricing) is the order of the day.
