Please join us for an exclusive dinner with Veronique Sanders, managing director of Graves Grand Cru Classe property Château Haut-Bailly, during which we’ll enjoy a vertical tasting of six wines from 2000 to 2009.
Veronique made Bordeaux history when she took the helm of Haut-Bailly in 1998 at just thirty years of age. A property associated with her family for four generations (but owned by American businessman Bob Wilmers since 1998), Haut-Bailly has gone from strength to strength under her leadership.
With thirty hectares under wines in Léognan in Graves, Haut-Bailly is one of Bordeaux’s most historic properties. Records date back to 1461, and they boast a four-hectare plot of vines over one hundred years old. With considerable investment in the past two decades, the château has never enjoyed more success than in this era under Veronique’s guidance.
We’ll begin with a glass of Champagne Tarlant, and then sit for dinner beginning with their second wine, 2009 La Parde de Haut Bailly, and then six vintages of the Grand Vin: 2000, 2002, 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009. All are source directly from the château.
There are just eleven tickets available so please do secure a place early.
