From Galicia’s most celebrated winemaker, the ‘Louro do Bolo’ is made from small parcels of Godello that are planted on steep, sandy and granitic soils and are predominantly made up of 25 year old+ vines. Fermented in 35 hectolitre French oak foudres, the wine then spends around 4 months on its lees prior to bottling, giving the wine additional weight and texture. Classic white blossom and fennel notes erupt from the glass balanced beautifully with a citrus core and vibrant and zesty acidity.
