As always, Fonseca has produced a profoundly dark port that exhibits deep concentration and density on both nose and palate. Grippy tannins are overlaid by rich, sumptuous, luxurious black fruits. Chocolate and herb notes add complexity to a fresh, lavishly fruity palate. Very long and complex. Fine quality.
