A Duo of Sparkling Rosé: Champagne meets England
Billecart-Salmon must be the most reliably brilliant non-vintage ("N/V") rosé champagne out there, with a delicate onion-skin pink colour, and a gentle but sophisticated lift of red fruits on the nose. Meanwhile, Rathfinny's 2018 sparkling rosé is just their fourth vintage of the wine, and a stunning effort. It's 81% Pinot Noir, 13% Chardonnay and 6% Pinot Meunier, and this high percentage of the former yields gorgeous red fruit on the nose.
