2018 Rhu, Viñedos de Alcohuaz, Elqui Valley
The 2018 Rhu is 80% Syrah, 12% Petite Sirah and 8% Garnacha. It's aged in foudres for 32 months, and is 90% whole bunch. It's elegant and nuanced with subtle complexity and lifted herbal notes. Grown on granite soils, it has the character of Northern Rhone with the warmth of the new world. Around 9000 bottles are produced each vintage.
