2011 Seña, Chadwick, Aconcagua Valley, Chile

2011 Seña, Chadwick, Aconcagua Valley, Chile

Set up initially as a joint venture between Robert Mondavi and Eduardo Chadwick, Seña is a beautiful hillside property on the western side of the Aconcagua valley, currently farmed under biodynamic principles.

"Superb dense purple colour, ripe black cherry/ black berry fruit on the nose with lifted spice, richly concentrated black summer fruits on the palate, smooth velvety texture and ripe yet firm tannins to back this up… The ripeness of fruit is extraordinary, terrific natural richness extracted without heaviness, this wine is still very young for me, but with a great future!"
Steven Spurrier, August 2013
