An immensely impressive Cabernet Franc but yields are tiny this year. This is wonderfully perfurmed with notes of black tea, violets and liquorice root with a ripe, intense core of dark cherry and plum fruit. There is a brooding intense quality to the wine yet plenty of charm - it will require a little patience.
