2023 Columella, Sadie Family, Swartland

There is restraint, wild herbs, pepper spice that leads on this wine with a savoury and slightly earthy note. It is tense and beautifully profound. Violets and iris emerge with some air and there is a sweet almost blue fruit character while remaining tense and very cool in style. Very fine detailed tannin here, etched with mineral tension.
