This is from the same vineyard as Bernhard Bredell's Graneetsteen Chenin Blanc, and Chris Alheit's Nautical Dawn. It's from the Rustenhof farm, which is one of the closest to the ocean in Stellenbosch, and this shows lots of yellow fruit and citrus pith, and also an impressive saline, mouthwatering quality. A brilliant Chenin Blanc, and a wine close to Paul's heart: he grew up just down the road from here, in Strand.
