From Albarino vines that were grafted onto unsuccessful Cabernet Sauvignon, this was a great decision from Ginny Povall. This is pithy and fresh, with lots of savoury density, and a delicious finish. Just so easy and drinkable
Ginny Povall grafted a block of her Cabernet Sauvignon over to Albariño in 2018 and hasn't looked back since her first vintage the following year. Tangy, zingy and unwooded, it has jasmine aromas and a palate of pear and nectarine supported by lime zest acidity and creamy lees. 2023-26
