Cool and textured, with fine apple fruit and plenty of vibrant citrus fruit on the palate, this is a very impressive Chardonnay from Peter-Allen. Nice pithy grapefruit notes and some gunflint reduction adds complexity.

Peter-Allan Finlayson's Western Cape cuvée is a seamless medley of fruit from Elgin, Overberg and the Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge. The oak is very understated here, complementing a wine that is subtle, elegant and graceful, with sappy wet stone and lemon butter flavours.
