A lovely introduction to Sijnn, particularly in the brilliant 2017 vintage. Lovely wild fruit, with plenty of darker notes, as well as spice and nicely judged tannins. Very good indeed.

Called Low Profile because it's Sijnn's second wine, this is a barrel selection of predominantly Shiraz with Mourvèdre, Touriga Nacional and Trincadeira. For fans of Dão reds and CrozesHermitage, this is somewhere between the two in style with violet and liquorice aromas and juicy, supple blackberry and red berry fruit.
