The 2018 Inglenook Cabernet Sauvignon is a wine of purity and refinement. A blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon, with 3.5% Cabernet Franc, 1% Merlot, and 0.5% Petit Verdot, this is a wine that shows remarkable poise, with finely judged tannins, and a long, saline finish. This is so Bordelais in style: blind, you could mistake it for top Cru Classé. Just a hint of more exuberant fruit on the mid-palate gives away its origins.
