2023 Snake's Tongue Pinot Noir, Pyramid Valley 'Botanical Collection', Central Otago

Remarkably fragrant and deeply savoury. Dark plums, wild thyme, and cloves, backed by subtle hints of smoked game and forest floor on the nose. Supple and fleshy on the palate, showing incredible depth and a plush, silky mid-palate. A wine of immense concentration and purity, there is an explosion of dark cherry, wild herbs, and savoury spice on the finish, yet remaining beautifully balanced and calming.
