2020 Hunting Hill Pinot Noir, Kumeu River, Kumeu

Hunting Hill is better known for producing one of Kumeu River's brilliant single vineyard Chardonnays, but there are some Pinot vines here and the results are just as noteworthy. The vineyard is situated on a slope overlooking Kumeu's flagship Maté’s Vineyard and the Pinot from here is pure and transparent with beautiful crunchy red berry fruit. Silky on the palate with waves of sweet spice.
