2014 Hunting Hill Chardonnay, Kumeu River, Kumeu

This is classic – if super-charged – Hunting Hill, with the slight reductive quality that you always seem to get from this excellent vineyard well balanced with lemon and lime notes and enchanting minerality. This is the tightest wound of the 2014s at this stage, but I fully expect it to be a stunner in a few years’ time.
