The Reserve Bin Chardonnay is made from 100% Adelaide Hills fruit and in 2022 the Chardonnays from Penfolds come very highly recommended. It matures in French oak, 75% new, and this adds a rich, creamy dimension that cuts through the salty, briney notes and ripe but restrained white stone fruit flavours. A brilliant example of why Adelaide Hills Chardonnay is so rightly celebrated for its concentrated, saline/mineral driven wines.
