2018 Single Vineyard Pinot Noir, Yabby Lake, Mornington Peninsula
Yabby Lake

Formative years spent working harvests at numerous top Burgundy domaines, including Domaine Bernard Moreau, have endowed talented winemaker Tom Carson with an impressive understanding of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Now established at the Kirby family’s winery Yabby Lake, he’s been called a “Pioneer” by Jancis Robinson, and rightly so. With a prime maritime spot on the Mornington Peninsula, and attention in the vineyard, the resulting wines are some of Austrlia’s finest and most elegant expressions of their grapes that we know.
