Sourced from the Lagan Estate, the cool 2017 growing season yielded a remarkably structured Chardonnay. A gorgeous evolution is taking place here. Aromas of grilled white peach, nectarine, and lemon curd are met with complex undertones of toasted hazelnut, oatmeal, and a distinct waxy beehive character. On the palate, the signature mineral drive of the estate is wonderfully balanced by a creeping, creamy lanolin texture and savoury pastry-dough depth. Entering its prime- the roaring, limey acidity of its youth has softened into a harmonious, savoury tension, making it an incredibly sophisticated drop today.
