2014 Bin 389 Cabernet/Shiraz, Penfolds, South Australia

2014 Bin 389 Cabernet/Shiraz, Penfolds, South Australia

The best value wine in the range in our opinion, with coaxing this has beautiful fruit with an iron oxide backbone. The palate is so young, with graphite, menthol and expressive plum and dark fruit. Incredibly impressive now, it gives just a hint of its future, and shows why it’s now Australia’s most cellared red wine.
