The nose is almost Pauillac, such is its power and intensity. On the palate blood orange and blackcurrants, alongside muscular but very fine tannins. Although it’s 100% new oak, you don’t feel it at all; it’s the purity and intensity that shows most of all. This is long and very mineral. A cerebral wine, and surely as good as Aussie Cab can get?
