Classically Shiraz, this has warmly inviting notes of red fruits and spice on the nose, carrying through onto a rich, densely textured palate. The core of hedgerow fruit is balanced by savoury notes of mocha and a touch of liquorice on the finish. Well balanced and with a fresh acidity brightening the finish. Already moreish, this is approachable now, but will keep for many years. Winemaker Peter Gago describes this as “the complete Bin 28 package… would do any Bin 28 back to 1959 proud”.
