Xinomavro is often likened to Nebbiolo, and this is a wine to challenge the very best Barolos. A delicate, aromatic nose of tar, rose petal and wild strawberries gives way to a structured, mineral palate. This is a wine that can be drunk straight away, but those with patience will be richly rewarded: the similarities with Piedmont’s best extends to its aging potential.
